Causeway Securities expands global footprint with new DFSA and EU regulatory licences
Causeway Securities is pleased to announce two significant regulatory milestones that further strengthen our international presence and reinforce our long‑term growth strategy.
DFSA Licence in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
We have received approval in principle from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) under Causeway Securities (DIFC) Limited, subject to meeting certain conditions, which will enable us to operate within the DIFC). This marks an important step in expanding our footprint across the GCC, one of the world’s fastest‑growing financial markets.
EU Regulatory Licence Granted by CMVM
Causeway has also been awarded an EU regulatory licence by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM). This authorisation provides the basis on which we may apply to passport our investment services into other European Union member states under MiFID II, subject to completion of the required host-state notification process in each jurisdiction. Our EU expansion will begin in Ireland, with additional markets to follow.
These developments significantly enhance our ability to serve professional clients across multiple key regions, offering greater access to our structured investment solutions and deepening our global reach.
